Students

Student members are those individuals enrolled in programs certified by the Canadian Architectural Certification Board (CACB) as leading to eligibility for certification of graduates of such programs not yet enrolled as Intern Architects.

Syllabus student members are those individuals enrolled in the RAIC Syllabus who, when enrolled in Part II of the program, are eligible to log their experience in the Canadian Experience Record Book (CERB) of the Internship in Architecture Program (IAP) of the Canadian Architectural Licensing Authority (CALA). SAA Syllabus students are required by SAA Bylaws to be employed by a person(s) approved by the council for a period of ten years or at the discretion of council based on the applicant’s experience or equivalent thereof.
