Retired Architect

A Retired Member is a person who is a member at the time of his/her retirement and, upon request in writing to council, may be designated a retired architect. Upon such registration that member shall be entitled:

  • to attend annual general meetings and special general meetings, but is not entitled to vote at them,
  • to receive the newsletters published by the association,
  • to receive such information as the council may direct from time to time, and
  • to use the designation “S.A.A. (Retired)” or “S.A.A.(Ret.)”.

Retired members are required to immediately return their seal and member certificate to the SAA. Please contact the Member Services Coordinator for additional information.
