In Saskatchewan, the profession of architecture is a “self-governing” profession.
The Architects Act, 1996 (“Act”) prescribes the complaints process and the Bylaws of the Association prescribes the Consensual Resolution Agreements process to ensure that the public interest is served and protected.
Filing a Complaint
Complaints can be filed regarding the professional misconduct or professional incompetence of any member of the SAA, or former member of the SAA, provided the complaint is filed not more that two years after cessation of membership.
Complaints can be filed by a member of the public or by a member of SAA.
